Bicycle Sharing project is a part of a more comprehensive project to study the mechanisms of consensus building and entrepreneurships on emerging environment-friendly "green" technologies. The project is jointly led by the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry and University of Tokyo. The project is supported by Japan Science and Technology Corporation.
